What's allowed, what's prohibited, and how we enforce it. Written in plain language.
Prohibited activities
You may not use LeadsApp to: violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe on the intellectual property rights of others; distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code; send unsolicited commercial mail in violation of CAN-SPAM or similar laws; harass, threaten, or abuse others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to LeadsApp systems or other users' data; engage in activities that disrupt or degrade the Service; use the Service for cryptocurrency mining; or resell or redistribute exported data without authorization.
Content standards
Content uploaded to or created through the Service must not contain illegal material, promote violence or discrimination, include content that exploits minors, or violate third-party privacy rights.
Recruiter spam at scale
LeadsApp is built for legitimate B2B outreach. Mass recruiter cold-emails at volumes typical of "sourcing tools" violate the spirit and letter of this policy. We retain the right to suspend accounts whose export patterns indicate recruiter-spam usage.
Suppression list compliance
If you upload a suppression list (Pro tier — roadmap), it must reflect actual recipient opt-out requests. Uploading fabricated suppression lists to manipulate the platform's data quality metrics is prohibited.
API + scraping
When the LeadsApp API ships (roadmap), API access will be scoped to your rate-limited credentials. Scraping the search/result HTML directly, or attempting to enumerate the contact index outside the API, is prohibited.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for AUP violations. We may report illegal activities to law enforcement authorities. For severe violations, we may notify affected third parties (e.g., the email provider whose users are receiving spam from your exported list).
Reporting violations
Report AUP violations to abuse@leadsapp.com. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and investigate within 5 business days.
