What we use, what we don't, and how to control it.
What we use
LeadsApp uses two categories of cookies: (1) Strictly-necessary cookies for session authentication, CSRF protection, and security tokens. These cannot be disabled while using the Service. (2) First-party analytics cookies (Google Tag Manager + PostHog) for usage analytics and product improvement. These collect anonymized data; no third-party advertising trackers are loaded.
What we don't use
No third-party advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels. No social-media tracking cookies. No data sales to third parties. The analytics cookies we use are first-party (cookies are set by leadsapp.com, not by a third-party tracker domain).
Specific cookies
better-auth.session_token (httpOnly, secure, 30-day expiry) — your authentication session. _ga and _gid (Google Analytics via GTM, 2-year and 24-hour expiry) — anonymized page-view tracking. ph_* (PostHog session/distinct ID, 1-year expiry) — product analytics event tracking.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break login and session functionality.
Cookie consent
We do not currently show a cookie consent banner because we block all EU IPs at the edge (no GDPR consent obligation). For users in jurisdictions where consent is required, we will add a per-region banner if/when we expand coverage to those regions.
