LeadsApp
vs HighLevel
HighLevel is an operating system for marketing agencies; the AI is an add-on, billed per location plus usage. LeadsApp is one employee for one job. If you want the whole platform — or an agency runs your marketing — HighLevel is the serious choice. If you just want your leads answered, you don't need to adopt an operating system to get it.
Agencies and marketers, on its own pricing page's words — “Built for growing agencies”, “Ideal for SaaSPRENEURs”. It replaces the whole marketing stack: CRM, funnels, websites, campaigns, booking, with AI specialists layered across phone, SMS and social. Businesses often arrive via an agency that sets it up and resells it. If that's your world, it's the category winner.
Small professional-service firms — agencies, consultants, law firms, realtors, coaches — whose leads arrive as a contact-form fill or an email, and who want them answered in under 60 seconds in their own voice, qualified, booked and followed up. One flat price, nothing to migrate, and you approve every draft until you decide otherwise.
A platform with an AI add-on, or an employee for one job
Almost every row below traces back to one thing: HighLevel sells you an operating system, and the AI is a usage-billed add-on that runs inside it. That's genuinely powerful if you want the whole system — and a lot of surface area if the problem you woke up with is “my inquiries sit unanswered.” Published benchmarks put the median first response to a new inquiry at 42 hours, with 63% of companies taking longer than an hour, while sub-five-minute responders convert roughly nine times better. Whichever product you pick, that's the gap worth closing.

| HighLevel | LeadsApp | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | An all-in-one marketing platform — CRM, funnels, websites, campaigns, booking — pitched as "The AI-powered business operating system", built for agencies and marketers.[1][3] | One employee for one job: answering, qualifying and following up on your inbound email and web-form leads. |
| Who it's built for | Their pricing page's own words: "Perfect for smaller businesses and solo marketers" (Starter), "Built for growing agencies" (Unlimited), "Ideal for SaaSPRENEURs & Agencies looking to go SaaS" (Agency Pro). Much of the platform — sub-accounts, rebilling, SaaS mode — exists so agencies can resell it.[1] | The owner of a small professional-service firm — agency, consultancy, law firm, realty, coaching practice — with no platform to run and no clients to resell to. |
| Channels the AI works | Phone calls, SMS, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and live chat, plus an Email AI tool — five AI "specialists" across the platform's channels.[2] | Inbound email and web-form inquiries. That's the whole job, done carefully. |
| Platform price | $97/mo Starter, $297/mo Unlimited, $497/mo Agency Pro, custom Enterprise — for the platform itself.[1] | $0 up to 25 leads a month, then $149 / $299 / $499 per month by lead volume. The price on the page is the whole price. |
| What the AI costs on top | The AI is not included in any plan — the pricing page footnotes it as usage-based. AI Employee runs $50/mo (Growth, 100 voice minutes) or $97/mo (Unlimited) per enabled location, or pay-per-use token rates — and their own overview notes the $97 tier covers all AI products except AI Agents Voice. Usage charges for telecom and AI apply across plans.[1][2][4][5] | Nothing. The AI is the product, and the plan price includes it — no tokens, no minutes, no per-usage meter. |
| Free tier | A 14-day free trial with full tier access. After that, the subscription plus usage.[1] | $0/mo, up to 25 leads a month, no card. Not a countdown trial — it stays free at that volume. |
| Commitment | Month-to-month; upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the dashboard.[1] | Month-to-month, cancel from your dashboard. |
| You approve messages before they go out | Not the model. The AI receptionist answers calls live and the conversation AI replies in real time across channels — there is nothing to approve first.[2] | The default on every account. Every draft waits in your review queue with the lead's score and reasoning; auto-send is something you switch on later, if you ever want it. |
| What adopting it means | Moving your business onto a platform — contacts, pipelines, calendars, campaigns — often set up and managed by an agency on your behalf.[1][3] | Pointing a contact form or forwarding an inbox at it. Your website, CRM and calendar stay exactly where they are. |

A note on reading their AI pricing
HighLevel's AI pricing has real fine print, spread across their pricing page, AI page and support portal — worth reading before you compare anything. The platform subscription does not include the AI: their pricing page footnotes AI tools as usage-based, and the add-on is priced per enabled location — $50/mo for the Growth tier (100 voice minutes) or $97/mo for the Unlimited tier, with pay-per-use token pricing as a third route. Their own AI Employee overview adds that the $97 tier covers “all AI products except AI Agents Voice.” A summer promotion (their “Summer of AI,” June–August 2026) makes some AI tools temporarily free — time-boxed, so check what applies when you read this. None of this makes HighLevel a bad buy; it means the sticker price and the monthly bill are different numbers, and the gap is the part to ask their sales team about.
Buy HighLevel if…
- You're an agency — you want sub-accounts, white-labeling, SaaS mode, and to resell the platform to clients.
- You want one system to replace your CRM, funnels, website, campaigns and booking together.
- Your leads need answering on the phone, by SMS, or in social DMs — channels we deliberately don't touch.
- You have (or are) a marketer who will live in the platform and drive it.
Buy LeadsApp if…
- Your leads arrive as a contact-form fill or an email, and they're sitting unanswered today.
- You want one job done well, not a platform to adopt — nothing to migrate, nothing to rebuild.
- You want to read and approve what goes out in your name before it sends.
- You want the price on the page to be the whole price — no per-location add-ons, no usage meter.
- You want to try it on real leads for $0 before deciding anything.
What LeadsApp does not do
Worth knowing before you switch anything off. If one of these is the job you need done, buy the product that does it.
- No phone answering. We never pick up a call — not a live agent, not an AI voice. If your phone rings and nobody answers, LeadsApp does not help with that.
- No SMS or text messages. Email and web-form inquiries only.
- No cold outreach, ever. LeadsApp replies to people who contacted you first. It will not email a purchased list, and we don't sell one.
- No live humans on your account. Every reply is written by AI and, by default, waits for you to approve it.
- No calendar management. We put your booking link in front of the serious leads — we don't read your availability, move appointments, or run your diary.
- No CRM, funnels, websites or campaign tools. LeadsApp works your inbound leads — it doesn't replace your marketing stack, and it never asks you to migrate anything.
Already on HighLevel through an agency?
Then the honest question isn't which product to buy — it's whether your inbound email and form leads are actually being answered inside the setup you're paying for. If they are, you don't need us. If they sit until someone checks a dashboard, LeadsApp runs alongside whatever your agency built: point the form at us or forward the inbox, and nothing about your HighLevel setup changes.
Try it on your own leads
Connect your contact form or forward your inquiry inbox, and watch LeadsApp answer your next 25 leads for free. Every draft waits for your approval, so nothing goes out in your name until you say so.
